Introduction: There are several ways to use these cards as educational materials in a fun way.
By Canadian International School
Game # 1: Memorable Spices - Memory Card Game
Cards are placed face down and during a player's turn, two cards are flipped over and the goal is to flip over two cards that identify the same spice. The player with the most correct matches wins.

Game #2: Go Fish
This card game – “Go Fish” would require the players to be able to link all the information together (name, picture, description). Players ask for certain cards from other players (each player starts with 3 or more cards). If a match cannot be made with the cards that are held in players’ hands, then the player who requested for the card 'goes fishing' and takes the top card from the deck of remaining cards.

Game #3: The Missing Link!
You could also use the cards to help students identify the spices in the Spice Garden at Sungei Buloh. Students could be given the description card and instructed to find the plant in the garden based on what the description says. They could then try to link the name with the plant they have identified.

Game #4: Match Point!
Students could be challenged to match all of the cards within a limited time and the person or team that does so in the shortest time is the winner. Players would be able to see the cards face up.
