To promote the exchange of information and expertise in wetland conservation, research and Communication, Education and Public Awareness | ||

To encourage understanding of wetlands and sharing of wetland information among sister wetland schools across the East Asian Australasian flyway | ||
Through SWAP, 3 local secondary schools are collaborating with 3 schools that are actively involved in our sister wetland site, Hong Kong Wetland Park (Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department) and Mai Po Nature Reserve in Hong Kong (World Wide Fund For Nature Hong Kong). Wetland conservation and management is being used as a study topic and the sister schools will make use of the web as a medium for exchange. The chosen team of students (4 students and 1 teacher) from each school will get to present their results and visit their partnering schools in Hong Kong Wetland Park for a site exchange programme in Nov 2008, as well as receive partnering schools from Hong Kong in February 2009. |
